Christie Elaine Curtis

Christie Elaine Curtis, 66, of Beckley died Sunday, November 6, 2016, at Raleigh General Hospital, following a short illness. 
Christie was born on July 8, 1950, to the late Margaret Lee Saunders Curtis and Charles Gray Curtis. 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two infant sisters, Margaret Gail and Ramona Lee; nephews, Michael Curtis and Wayne Helmick and niece, Diane Helmick. 
Left to cherish Christie's memory are her sister, and caregiver for the past 20 years, Irene Miller and husband, Gene of Beckley; Ann Croom of Beckley; Timothy Curtis and wife, Vickie of Beckley; Glen Curtis and wife, Linda of Georgia; Charles "Bill" Curtis and wife Carol of Indiana; Leeta Kay Helmick and, husband Jerry of California; Linda Sue Mackey and husband, Elmer of Beckley. 
Christie will be remembered many nieces, nephews and cousins as the very special person she was. Also treasuring memories of Christie is Faith Booker, friend and special companion who spent many hours sitting and talking with her.
